IN AND FOR HARDEE, HIGHLANDS AND POLK COUNTIES
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 3-18.0
IN RE: SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT OF CASES IN SECTION 7 FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, it is desirable to insure proper administrative control of certain similar cases filed in the General Civil Division of the Circuit, it has been determined that these cases should be filed within one section;
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to the authority vested in me as Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, it is hereby
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that:
1. Effective immediately, all cases within each of the General Civil Divisions of the
Circuit Court involving claims against E.I. DuPont De Nemours & Company, as a
Defendant, and concerning a product known as Benlate, shall be filed and assigned to Polk
Section 7. The Clerk of Courts for each county within the Tenth Circuit shall reassign all
pending cases concerning the above named Defendant and subject matter, to Polk Section 7.
2. The Clerk of Court for each county within the Tenth Circuit shall notify attorneys representing parties involved in any reassigned cases of he reassignment. Upon notification of reassignment, attorneys shall reset any presently scheduled hearings to be heard before the judge assigned to Polk Section 7.
This Order shall remain in effect until further order of this Court.
